Book rental moves to Amazon, New York

NEW YORK (AP) The New York State Book Depository and the publisher are moving to Amazon.com.

The move will allow for more online book sales and expand Amazon’s presence in New York.

Amazon said the book depository and publisher have decided to go with the online book rental platform because they both have “long histories of delivering great content.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with Amazon.

We look forward to working with them to grow our books and bookshelves and help the community to find great books and make them even better,” said New York state comptroller Scott Stringer.

“These are books that people have been asking for, and it’s just a matter of time before they’re available for people to purchase.”

New York is one of four states that have passed legislation making it easier for book buyers to rent books through Amazon.

A similar law passed in California earlier this year.

Book rentals are the most popular source of book sales for Amazon, but it has struggled to find new readers.

The company announced in August that it would buy the book publisher Random House for $315 billion.
