When is it OK to rent a car?
When is the right time to rent your car?
You’re likely going to have to think twice about it.
The National Automobile Dealers Association says it’s time to make sure you are using the right car rental agency.
The association says car rental agencies often charge too much, or don’t have enough drivers, or even are not properly trained.
Car rental agencies may also charge you for the privilege of driving, such as to your parents house or a friend’s house, the association said.
“In many cases, it is possible to rent out your car in excess of $1,500,” the association wrote in a news release.
So, it’s OK to be a little wary.
But the NADA says car rentals are an important part of the overall rental economy.
